Student Move Outs

To all of our Storage King student customers, we hope you have had a great break from University over the summer holidays. We know that you will be looking to move back to Uni in February/March and find a new flat or hostel for the University year.

Storage King Newtown and Hutt City helped to make your student storage experience easy by moving your items into storage using our pick up service. We would now like to make your move out as easy and convenient as possible.

We will be providing an optional Drop Off service for all students who used our storage facilities at the end of 2011. We will drop your items to your new flat or hostel at a day of your choosing.

There will be a small fee for doing this service, and this depends on your unit size and amount of stuff stored. This fee will be far cheaper than using a removal company or hiring a truck/trailer.

Alternatively you are more than welcome to move your items out of our facilities by your own methods, and we can assist you with recommending movers, or hire out our Storage King truck for you to do the move yourself.

If you need your stuff to be moved out on a weekend, there will be an additional $30 weekend fee, as we will need to hire staff to work on those particular days.

This will be an extremely busy period for us, as a lot of students moved in to our storage facilities in November and December 2011. So to get the day and time of your choosing we strongly recommend that you book in advance and beat the rush.
